Heart-to-Heart at the Library

Description

Join us for our first �Heart-to-Heart at the Library� event on Saturday January 11th from 1:00 - 4:00 pm at Sequoya Library. These events allow space for open conversations about healthy relationships communication boundaries and so much more. We will be watching movies or TV shows with light snacks included. Afterwards we will discuss and critique the relationships within the fims or shows. Our events are open to any adult (18+) with intellectual/developmental disabilities and we encourage independence for attendees who do not require support staff/helpers. We hope to see you there! ABOUT HEART CONSULTING Few people with ID/DD are taught about issues like dating violence increasing their risk of exploitation. Heart provides educational services to people with ID/DD to better understand topics like sexual harassment consent and domestic and sexual violence to reduce risk and provide resources for reporting
