Sustainable Gardening with the Gardens Network
Description
Learn more about sustainable garden practices and the ways community gardens foster equity, community, and food production with this guided tour of the Meadowood Community Garden! Founded in 2008, Meadowood Community Garden has 28 plots and an established, volunteer-led, kids’ garden. The Gardens Network is a partnership between Rooted, UW-Madison Extension Dane County and the City of Madison.
- Meet at the Meadowood Park Garden, located in a small park located at 5808 Thrush Lane.

- Restrooms: there are no restrooms at the park. The Meadowridge Library, 5726 Raymond Rd, is nearby and has restrooms. The library is open until 8pm.
