The Sketchbook: Philosophy Practice and Creative Play with Artist-in-Residence

Description

This two-part workshop is for anyone looking to develop or deepen a relationship with their sketchbook. Maybe you dont consider yourself an artist but you have that creative itch and yet ruining a blank page with a terrible drawing is paralyzing. Maybe you need a break from the creative work you do at your day job but want to find a process for personal creative play. In the first session we will make our own custom sketchbooks look at sketchbook inspiration and get comfortable "ruining" a blank page. The second session will include more sketchbook exercises discussions about why we draw and tools to help you cultivate a sustainable sketchbook drawing practice that can enrich your life! ***Those that register for this workshop will need to attend both dates (1/29 and 2/26). Only one registration required on 1/29 date ages 16+
