Canoes for Conservation: A Canoe Trip Along Starkweather Creek with the Friends of Starkweather Creek

Join the MPL Naturalist-in-Residence and the Friends of Starkweather Creek (FSC) on a canoe trip through Starkweather Creek. Learn about the history of Starkweather Creek and the advocacy work being done to protect and repair this important watershed. Special thanks to the Friends of Starkweather Creek for hosting the event.

  • Registration is required. Meet at the Olbrick Park Canoe Launch: 3402 Atwood Ave. by 10am.
  • Life vests provided. All participants must wear life vests and complete an activity waiver.

Accessibility Notes:

  • Restrooms are available at the canoe launch.
