It Takes A Village After-School Enrichment(Blow Off Some S.T.E.A.M edition)

Description

It Takes A Village After-School Enrichment sessions are created in an effort to promote community, and a safe place for youth patron between 12 and 18 years old. We will supply various activities from crafts, board games and electronic games also. This session will be special, Halloween is around the corner and we're craving BRAINS! Okay, maybe not...but you can touch and hold a real human brain and learn more about neuroscience thanks to our friends at the UW Neuroscience Training Program. They'll be visiting Goodman South Madison Library for our Blow Off Some STEAM program, where teens and tweens can take the mirror-box challenge and learn about procedural memories. Stop into the library between 4:30-6PM and then head across the street [UW Space place 2300 South Park street ] at 7 for Dane County 4-H's STEAM Team "Science Fright Night" hosted in partnership with The Atrium, UW Space Place and the Wisconsin Science Museum. No registration required.
