Make Music Madison returns to Pinney Library! PLEASE NOTE: Due to extreme heat and humidity, performances will be held inside in the Community Room.

Scheduled Performers:

  • Eric De Los Santos, 10-11am,  Popular State Street musician performing multi-genre music covers on marimba.
  • Bear in the Forest, 11:15am-12pm, Singer/songwriter performing Indie/Folk music that howls with spiritualism.
  • Makey Makeys (hands-on experience for all ages), 12:30-2pm, Join local electronic musician Scott Fradkin for an interactive electronic music-making experience for all ages.
  • Benjamin Rose, 2:45-3:30pm, One member of popular local synth-rock band "Kat and the Hurricane" performing covers and original tunes.
  • Sunshine Sisters, 3:45-4:30pm, Singing uplifting and familiar oldies duets accompanied by ukeleles.
  • Madison Flute Club, 7-7:50pm, With over 30 members, and flutes of all shapes and sizes, the Madison Flute Club performs modern and classical music throughout the Madison area.

Make Music Madison is a free, city-wide outdoor day of music held annually on the summer solstice. Initiated in Madison in 2013, the festival is part of the larger Make Music Day, an international summer solstice music celebration occurring in 1000+ cities across the globe.
