Dream a Future: Bus Lines Poetry Celebration 2022 with Madison Poet Laureate Angela Trudell Vasquez

This spring Madisonians were asked to share their dreams for the future as part of the 2022 Bus Lines Poetry Contest, presented by Madison Metro Transit and Madison Poet Laureate, Angela Trudell Vasquez. 18 poems were selected and transformed into works of art by Edgewood College Graphic Design Students and will be on display at the Pinney Library. Join us for a celebration of our community’s vision for the future.
Activities will include:
- Readings by the Bus Lines poetry contest winners & Madison Poet Laureate Angela Trudell Vasquez
- Explore the Bus Lines art exhibit and meet some of the student artists and Edgewood College Graphic Design Professor Carrie Firman, MFA
- Interactive poetry and art making stations for all ages
- Light refreshments
