Friends of Sequoya Book Sale (6672 Odana Rd)

The Friends of Sequoya Library are happy to announce that we will be resuming our first-Saturday book sales starting in August!  Our first sale will be on Saturday, August 7, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at our bookshop at 6672 Odana Road (next to Play It Again Sports in the Market Square shopping center).

We are asking that everyone entering the store wear a mask. Children are welcome, but just one child per adult, please, and the adult and child must stay together while in the shop.

Admission at 9 a.m. will be by lottery: it is not first-come, first-serve. At 8:45, we will issue numbers, randomly drawn, to everyone in line; shoppers will be admitted in numerical order and will have 30 minutes to shop. Anyone arriving after the numbers have been issued will join the end of the line. Later in the day, if there is no line, shoppers should be able to stay longer than 30 minutes.

We appreciate your cooperation as we try to re-establish our book sales in a way that is safe, fair, and fun. We have thousands of used books, CDs, DVDs, and other items generously donated by the community, and all proceeds go to support the Sequoya Branch Library. We look forward to seeing you there!
