ONLINE: Using Nature as Another Teacher in Family Child Care / Usar la naturaleza como otro maestro en el cuidado infantil familiar

Please join Satellite Family Child Care System, Wisconsin Early Education Shared Services Network and Madison Public Library on Saturday, April 17th, 2021 from 9:00 am- 12:30 pm for "Using Nature as Another Teacher in Family Child Care" – an interactive workshop with Rachel Larimore. Rachel is the Chief Visionary for Samara Early Learning and educator, speaker, consultant, and author on nature-based early learning. This workshop will focus on nature-based early childhood principles and ways to enhance early learning experiences in the outdoors. Participants will have an opportunity during the session to explore their own physical environments that exist within their programs that support nature-based learning. Three and a half hours of Registry credit will be available. This event will be in English, with simultaneous interpretation into Spanish.

A 12:30 p.m para "Usar la naturaleza como otro maestro en el cuidado infantil familiar," un taller con Rachel Larimore. Rachel es la visionaria principal de Samara Early Learning y educadora, oradora, consultora y autora sobre el aprendizaje temprano basado en la naturaleza. Este taller se centrará en los principios de la primera infancia basados en la naturaleza y en las formas de mejorar las experiencias de aprendizaje temprano al aire libre. Los participantes tendrán la oportunidad durante la sesión de explorar sus propios entornos físicos que existen dentro de sus programas que apoyan el aprendizaje basado en la naturaleza. Se dispondrá de tres horas y media de crédito del Registro. Este evento será en inglés, con interpretación simultánea al español.
