Naturalist-in-Residence: Wild Writing

Description

There’s more than one way to write about the outdoors. In her journey as a nature writer, Andrea Debbink, the 2025 Naturalist, has written across genres and formats—from picture books to field guides. In this workshop, we’ll consider different types of nature writing, personalize journals to record our inspiration and ideas, and learn how to use that inspiration to fuel our writing. Journals and supplies will be provided.

Registration for this event will open on July 7 at 9am.

Part of Madison Public Library's Naturalist-in-Residence program. The Naturalist-in-Residence is made possible in part through the generous support of Nancy Leff and Kenneth Lerner, and in partnership with Madison Parks.
