Stepping On: Week 8 - Stepping Up Your Nutrition

Week 8 will explore how a balanced and healthy diet is essential for building and maintaining strong bones and muscles, which are, in turn, crucial for maintaining balance and preventing falls. This session will emphasize the importance of overall health, including diet, as a factor in falls prevention.
About the Facilitator: Besides serving as a member of our Falls Free Dane coalition, Linda Cantrill is a trained Stepping On facilitator and falls prevention expert, as well as senior fitness and therapeutic pilates instructor.
*Please note that Stepping On includes physical movement and is not suitable for individuals who use a walker indoors or a wheelchair full-time. For safety reasons, Stepping On is similarly not available to individuals who have dementia or cognitive impairment.
