[FULL] Adult Beginning Sewing: Teddy Bears

Description

Have you ever wanted to learn how to sew? Now is your time! Local artist and illustrator Rita Salm has been sewing since they were a kiddo, and took a more professional style sewing class in college. During this class, they fell in love with sewing again, and have been using it in their practice since. Join Rita in covering some sewing basics while creating something fun and great to have. This program will deal with sewing machines, patterns, and putting all of the pieces together to create something you can take home. All materials and supplies will be supplied by the library. If participants are unable to complete their project in the time allotted, a make-up session will be available on Friday, April 12 from 1:00-3:00 p.m.

UPDATE 03/22/24: This class is currently full; to be added to the wait list, please email fmcdaniel@madisonpubliclibrary.org or call 608-824-1780.

Space is limited and registration is required. Registration opens two weeks before the event, on March 22 at 10:00AM.
