Fiesta de pingüinos (Penguin Party)

Niños y familias pueden sumergirse en el mundo de un pingüino antártico al probar el juego de realidad virtual Waddle, desarrollado por investigadores del Polo Sur y la compañía de juegos FieldDay en UW-Madison. Tendrás la oportunidad de asumir el papel de un pingüino, jugar algunos adorables minijuegos y aprender cómo los pingüinos construyen nidos y defienden sus huevos contra los depredadores skúas. Además, la biblioteca mostrará la película Happy Feet y ofrecerá una manualidad divertida donde los niños podrán hacer su propio pingüino de papel.

Se proporcionará una ligera merienda por orden de llegada. No es necesario registrarse.

The Penguin party is a extension of the Polar Fellowship project, this party is to entertain, educate, and engage patrons on the ways and lifestyle traits of the Artic and the Penguins that inhabit it. We will have activities for families to do together.  Along with hosting and presenting some new VR software created by UW partner FieldDay from the "Waddle" series . We will be running a showing of the movie "Happy Feet" in addition to other things that will be taking place.
