Day 1 of 2-day workshop: Fabric Dyeing Rainbow Flags

Description

Presented by Pinney Studio Artist-in-Residence, Bernie of bernieandzuzu.com

Celebrate Pride Month by dyeing your own unique rainbow flag! We will use textile paint to dye larger tapestries as well as small mini-flags. On the first night of the workshop, we will sketch out ideas and designs, test color combinations, and then paint your large tapestry. On the second day we will heat set the tapestries, and then make a few more tiny flags for you to take home and display!

This is a 2 day workshop (6/6 & 6/7) and registrants must commit to attend the entire 2 hour sessions on both days. Breaks will be included; bring your own snacks and beverages.

Space is very limited and registration opens two weeks before the first date (May 23). Register via the link in THIS calendar date listing. If registration is full, a brief waiting list will be kept for any cancellations. Call 608-224-7100 for more information.

Supplies provided, simply bring your creativity.  Intended audience is age 16-99 (older teens and adults) - this is not a children's/youth workshop.  This workshop will take place in the indoor Studio and outdoor Patio.
